Decent book. A lot of grammatical errors and typos, but you get the gist. I hoped it would go more in depth in some areas, but it didn't. It was like a comprehensive Google search of basic eclectus info. Good, but I'm still looking for more info.

While the title of this book says 'basic care and need', I think Kim has gone beyond basic and written a very informative book covering feeding, housing, personalities, behaviors, body language and so much more. It is easy to read and understand too. This book was the first book on Eclectus Parrots I bought and I refer back to it often. I would definitely recommend this book to a new Eclectus owner or someone who is thinking of buying their first Eclectus.
